For the last 17 years, The Hamilton Wenham Education Fund has remained committed to bringing enriching, quality, educational opportunities to our students. In the last five years alone, we have awarded to our five district schools grants totaling $223,626 for investment in areas over and above district school budgets.

The Edfund is a unique, grassroots organization that raises funds for a permanent endowment for our schools. The beauty of the endowment is that it allows us to have a direct, tangible impact on the schools now and to also have a positive impact on the future, creating a legacy of sustained support for educational excellence.

We are beginning to see the benefit of our growing endowment. This continued growth will allow us, beginning this year, to move to a more traditional means of determining our grant amount as we will allocate a set percentage of the endowment balance to grants. This will allow us to maintain our current level of giving while preserving and growing the endowment for the future.

Once again, we ask you to join the many volunteers and supporters who are the Edfund. Your contributions have a direct impact on the quality of education in our community.
